One of the first things that my first divorce attorney [Don Rice] did with my divorce case, was to have it transferred from Judge Jent to Magistrate Johnson, as my ex's attorney [Jeff Shaw] had requested. I didn't understand this move and I wasn't comfortable with it.
I wouldn't realize until months into the divorce why Attorney Rice had possibly wanted the case transferred to Johnson's courtroom: Magistrate Johnson let the attorneys do whatever they wanted...no matter how questionable.
